Manix2 Burled G10 Release ?

Last two comments in that order made me laugh more than I should have at a knife forum:).

But first impression was :Thats different...chocolate milk Manix?

not knocking the knife though, its unique and i think each one will look different which is cool. :thumbsup: 162 for DLC s90v and a unique g10 isn't bad at all.

Who's complaining about S90V? I guess you couldn't bother read every thing I posted? I'll repost it since you seemed to have missed it "Nothing wrong with S90V but how about some new steels?"

As evidenced by the Mule Team program Spyderco has a lot of different steels at their disposal..the scales are a turn off but it would have been more interesting if this had been 4V, K390, 10v or any number of other steels.

The 52100 Manix does have the cool scales and blacked out liners and hardware but the the fact it came with 52100 is what pushed it over the top.. If it had come with S90V I would've been on the fence about it.

So the knife can be seen in this video at the 1:11 mark. It looks like the scales are polished compared to the original pics where it looked textured. I think they look way better polished. I will hold final judgment when I see them in person
 
I think the knife looks okay. It is unusual, not the same old same old. I like it, and yes, it does look better polished.

Haha true. I got 3 in s90v (one is laminated) but I just like their sprint peel ply carbon fiber too much that it usually comes with. I was happy to get a carbon fiber pm2 in M4.
 
They managed to make it look even worse by polishing those scales...at least it's fairly simple to change them, whats the street price on this?
