I saw that, I've emailed the Bulgarian mother ship to ask if it will be available from the factory shop also (cheaper shipping for me than from the US). Here's to hoping!

Not yet but they usually take a while to reply. I'd also asked them if CPM 154 was a possible option for the Wasp.
I think it's a lot harder than opinel at 60-61 and it sharpens up easy. Don't need to mention how sharp it gets. Not yet but they usually take a while to reply. Not so sure about 12C27. It's ok on an Opinel but my opinel rarely cuts anything harder than food. I ran a test once, my Opinel 6 vs a SAK Pioneer, cleaning up and preparing two huge briskets, one for each knife. The SAK edge lasted longer. Considerably longer. I was rather surprised at that.
Thanks! You're the first I've seen who got the 12C27.I think it's a lot harder than opinel at 60-61 and it sharpens up easy. Don't need to mention how sharp it gets.
It keeps shaving after good amount of cardboard for what it is. Still have to test it out more but it likes to stay sharp. It's geometry is a win if you need to go for longer. And again its really friendly for your SM.
Thank you. I know of least one in Europe. I’ll message you, because it’s not a BF Dealer, but very reliable.^^^ Beautiful!
I'm confused as to where Manly, based in Bulgaria, manufacture these, as they are available from the USA but not in Europe!
Very frustrating, as I'd buy one like a shot, and I already have the digi-camo version.![]()
Heinnie Haynes is in Wales. They have in orange and green. You might consider contacting them or even Manly(Bulgaria) and see if they could help. Also saw this. Just a thought. Just spotted this one too. Thanks guys!
EDIT: Just checked on that fine Scandi site, sadly no Wasps of any description. Heinnie Heynes in the UK carry them, but not thus far in that great colour scheme. Pity! I just can’t go through the pain of US shipping and exorbitant Customs duty when I know that the damn thing is made in the EU.
Yes, both shops I use - there are not many to choose from here. The only country currently stocking this particular colour Wasp is the USA. Hopefully that will change. But it seems a bizarre strategy, given the restrictive knife laws not just in the UK but throughout the EU. The Wasp is basically tailor made for our market, whereas the USA mostly allows for more scope for EDC. Shrug.Heinnie Haynes is in Wales. They have in orange and green. moonrakerknives in the UK.
Looks great!I got the red/black in earlier this week, it's not often I'll say a factory knife comes sharp but this one did.
No reason to sharpen, it's ready to go. I carry these in a small belt sheath, so I've removed the clip and made a new piece to fill in the space. Bought a $8 feeler gauge and used the .030 gauge. It doesn't match the original color, maybe some cold blue will work. Just a little experiment to see if I like it.
I've worked my original pretty hard, there are some paint staines and a small chip on the corner when it fell on the tail gate.
No harm done, still feels like a new knife.
