Im not 100% sure where to post this, but I gotta know...where are these slick looking slip joints coming from? Im looking to buy one, but all I’ve found online is the home page and a couple dealers I’m not familiar with. I’m not picky about steel choices, it sounds like their heat treat is spot on, I just know I’m not going to be content until I track one down.

Manly USA was the original US distributor of these knives, they had to stop since Manly stopped shipping to them. I have seen Manly up for sale at other online Knife sites. They are made in Bulgaria. The D2 steel is German, and the other steels from other locations. They had Sandvik, cpm 154 and m390.

From what I’m finding, that might be my only option. I’m a little shocked at the price of these knives, I honestly expected it to be twice as much...maybe I’ll grab two lol

European webshops still have them. IDK how much will shipping cost tho.

Good working knives, fit and finish are good, not collector quality but good solid knives. My favorite are the Wasps in Sandvik, and my Comrade in D2. There is a good right up of them in the Knives Review and testing thread by Gary W Graley.

That is the Comrade (also a slip joint) in cpm154, larger than the Wasp. The newer Wasps and Comrades have a stop pin behind the tang of the blade to prevent the blade from striking the spring when shutting closed, to prevent edge damage. That was a thing with some of the older models, but should be fixed, not a big deal but something to read up on in the knife testing and review section. I also like my fixed blade Patriot and Drugar.
 
The Canadian website where I bought my WASP in 12C27 isn't offering them anymore, either; I believe Cutting Edge in Calgary was starting to carry them. Will check when they re-open, which should be any time. These are great knives, hope they will be widely available again soon.
 
The source mentioned above has the S90V Wasp. There is also a US online dealer who has the 12C27 version, but they are not a paying dealer on BF so I can't let that name out publicly on the forum.

I have a 12C27 Wasp and I like it a lot.
