Manly Wasp

14C28N is a fine steel for a pocket knife. Now that you have it, what do you think? The four stop action threw me off at first, but I've come to like it that way.
I was tickled to see 14C28, I like it for daily carrying.
The Wasp seems to be well made, everything is flush, and the blade shape is exactly what I was looking for...and yeah, it’s crazy sharp lol.
The G10 is nice, IMO it’s just grippy enough, but not crazy “tear up your pocket” rough.
The four stop was really stiff, but with a little scrubbing with a toothbrush and a drop or two of oil it’s definitely smoothing up. It’s gonna take a little getting used to, but I do see the safety factor...you’d have to try to close this one on your fingers. lol
Overall, I like it, and consider it well worth the $60 I paid for it.

What is the stated Rc on the card for 14C28? They list 60-61 for 12C27.

Sorry I didn’t reply until today, I was fondling my new knife. lol
To answer your question, the card says 59-61.

After using it in the kitchen yesterday (carrots, onions, celery and potatoes for a roast), it didn’t take long to appreciate the Wasp for what it is...a slicey little guy that’s built stout. In fact, my first thought was “this is modern twist on the classic sodbuster, with an excellent pocket clip”.

That's why I ended up really liking mine. It's a great little cutter in a nice little package for not very much money, considering what you get.

When I carry traditionals I find myself pining for a pocket clip even more than I do for one-handed opening, so the Wasp's simple, effective clip is a big selling point for me as well.
