MANTRACK in different sizes?

In the recent issue of "GUNS" magazine, with the souped up 870 on the cover, the centerfold (Man I love centerfolds!

) there is a MANTRACK pictured. It looks to me, to have a black finish and the blade appears to be shorter in length. Am I just seeing things (maybe this is something I need to order

) or am I right?

AND, how do I get one of those nifty kydex sheaths for my DB, like the guy has in the magazine? OR, Mick or Duane, is there a sheath for the DB like the full size knives have?

One last thing, who is the model?

DAMN, I've been around my wife too much! I'm asking so many questions, like a woman! Somebody pass me a Beer and let's go shoot something!!

Ronin,
Check out the picture in the "different model, different uses" posting. You will notice the green SOE sheath with a Strider in it. That is the small SOE sheath for the DB as that is the knife in it. Hope that gives you an idea as to what they can do for you.

I have a proposal for you. You get me a ride-a-long in your helicopter (just for 20-30 minutes and oh, about 2000 rounds) and I will take you for a ride-a-long for 4-8 hours in South Central L.A. I know this isn't an even trade, but who knows, you may get to blast 10-15 rounds!

I haven't seen the article so I don't know.
But a Mantrack is simply a 10% larger MT.
Maybe the photo is of an MT.
Or, if its even shorter, maybe an MT.MOD10?

I thought it might be a MT like mine (I got mine from Chris. You made it custom for someone in Texas, has the 5" blade). But, it has "Mantrack" on it!

And it looks like it has a black finish. Reed, do you agree?

I knew you would have the answer!

But now I am confused!

I have a MT with a 5" blade and a short handle!! It is stamped "STRIDER" and has a black cord wrap. WWWHHHHAAAAASSSSS UUUUUUPPPPP??????

Mantrack is not the MT. It is a different model all together. There was a MT mod 10 that is a shorter MT. That may be what you have. Then there is the standard MT. Then the bigger Mantrack.

forget those stupid knives...what you guys really need is a VangComp 870!! except for Ryan...he needs a shrink!!
