Update in red below...''
Take a look at "Denim's" Maple Burl Clipper on the knives for sale forum - It's made with my burl - sister pieces to these. Nice stuff guys.
Hi Gang,
Here are more of my beautiful maple burl blocks for sale. They were professionally stabilized by River Ridge. I can cut these into scales and prep them (after purchase) if anyone prefers. They work (cut, sand, shape) wonderfully and polish out like glass. I've added a pic of a knife I made recently with some from the same batch so you may see the final result.
They are $25 each plus $4.95 shipping; or I'll bundle them - all five for $100 plus free shipping to the first "Hey Wayno, I'll take the deal!".
MBB5-11 is almost 6" long so that inclusion on the bottom can be worked around easily.
MBB5-8 has that little inclusion on the bottom but it is gorgeous otherwise!
Note: When I sell wood I think it's fair to list the fine print as I don't like surprises either. There are a couple blocks with very minor inclusions (they are solid, but they are inclusions none the less) that can be easily worked with or around. The other 99% of the wood in the block is amazing and well worth it or I wouldn't post them. That's also why these aren't listed for $30-$35 per block like the commercial vendors charge for similar quality. There are a couple of wonderful makers on the forums here that have used my wood and love it. If you appreciate quality when you see it and use it, then these are for you. If you're just starting out or you expect $50 blocks for $20........then I'm not your guy.
paypal@jarrettknives.com is preferred. International sales at actual postage cost. Please inquire.
