Thank you.

I forgot to post the dimensions last night...so here they are:
The blade is 4 3/16" and the OAL is 8 7/8"

Butch, I dye the handle with brown leather dye diluted w/ alcohol...then many coats of true oil.
Thanks again.
Mace

This "Smith" is to be noted for the future. I would say he will only get better.

Very nice and creative workmanship. The handle work is a standout. Is the cutting edge 4 & 3/16" or, is that figure for the length of the steel?

WOO HOO!!!!! Mace doin' the Maryland thang!!!!:D We have similar tastes. I have been thinking for months about doing a double version of a starbust pattern like that for my first foray into wire inlay. Just have to buildup the courage..lol

Thank you all very much! I appreciate all your wonderful comments.:D

rnhood, 4 3/16" is from the tip to the front of the guard.

Joe, Go for it! Just don't forget to do some practice first on some scrap. It's a whole new ball game sitting down w/ a finnish sanded handle!

Thanks for looking!

Just wanted to add my compliments on this knife. Back, back, good bye Mr. Spaulding. Outta the park. I'd sure love to see the sheath as well. Even dig your logo Mace. Looking forward to seeing more of your blades.

There is absolutely nothing on that knife that isn't exactly the way it should be.

Darned 'ol have to have-to-save-money-for-food thing. :grumpy:

Thanks guy's!
Ringo, Here is a pic w/ the sheath. You can see the temper line in this shot, even through all the oil on the blade.:D You also get a little better idea of the figure in this wood.
Still need to get myself a light box set up...
I'll be checking out Coop's demo at the Northeast hammer-in this July.
Thanks for looking.
Mace
