After seeing Milton's posting of asking for a refund and not getting any answers I felt I should post for reference the same has happened to me.

I did get an email from Wil agreeing to refund my money but have not recieved it, something is wrong with this situation :confused:

Wil if your out there please send PayPal refund?
 
I just tried calling Wil on his phone. His mailbox is full and not accepting any more messages. I had my phone number forwarded to his pager. I hope that he is not ill. I'll be saying a prayer or two for him, just in case.

I did exchange emails with him on monday about the KMG grinder that I purchased from him. He told me that while he was out of town his son forgot to ship it as Wil had asked him to. He told me that it would ship on Wednesday. I am still waiting on a tracking number for it.

Good Luck getting any response much less the knife!

Scottickes you might also read his my space Will Hurley is 29 yrs OLD. If his son is going to ship the grinder you purchased. You might be waiting on him to either grow up or be concieved, either way I don't think I would hold my breath.

As of today there are three of us myself (milton3672), SpearZ, and Simmons777, that have paid for knives and never recieved them or refunds.
 
With thing's feeling out of sorts with no delivery of the knife being made, I felt the best thing to do is just ask for a refund to bring a mishap to an end.

Wil agreed to refund the money in an email and seems to have dissappeared since, with no attempt to refund or explain delayed refund.

This issue looks to involve several buyers here.
 
For me it's a shame because I went out on a limb buying from someone new and was trying to help him out as the knives he was selling weren't moving.

The real thing that gets me is this money should have gone to a knife maker I have bought from in the past and trust to make a good knife and good customer service trying to delivery the knife to my doorstep.

Did you get the knife you paid for or did you get screwed like the rest of us????

i paid for the knife - but it was already sold when i sent the paypal. Wil offered to either refund my money or make me a similar one. since i wasn't in any real hurry, i let him know he could make me a similar knife. i havent heard back from him for a while - but to my understanding he was heading out of town. i have seen the multiple posts about how people havent received knives that they have paid for - so i sent him an email asking about it. as of yet - i have not heard back. i hope this is just a big misunderstanding and I will wait a few more days to hear his side of things. for some reason i dont think he ran off to hawaii with the money from these knives. 4-5 knives at $100 bucks per is not going to get you very far, and is definately not worth ruining your name over.

thats just my take, hopefully i'll hear from him soon and we can get this mess cleared up.
 
I am glad to say Wil emailed me and has posted a paypal refund, the funds are "pending" which means I have actually not received any money.

His paypal account could be tied up paying out the other refunds, in which case Wil has offered to send a money order, which I will take if paypal doesn't clear in the next few days to a week.

So it seems Wil is trying to clear this up at this point, I hope all get there refunds as asked for or there knives.
