Excellent condition Marathon GSAR automatic. This was just sent in for a new bezel and Trit on the 12, 3, 6 & 9. I paid $450 just for the new trit, bezel and servicing. It has a used marathon (original) metal band that has no additional links but if you are of average size wrists it should fit. I’m 8.5” and it is tight. It also comes with a crown and buckle nato and another black nato strap. Believe it or not, this is just a tad too small for me. I prefer a larger watch. US Govt marked with date. Beautiful watch.

Who did the Trit service?

How old is the watch, has the auto movement ever been serviced?
Time keeping?

The watch is maybe 10 years old but you wouldn’t know it by looking at it as it looks great. It was serviced last summer at Wilson Watch Works. He installed new tritium on the 12, 3, 6 & 9 since the other trit is still looking pretty good. He also placed a new bezel ring on it since the original was dinged up. All parts installed are factory sourced Marathon parts. Since it was opened, it was required to be completely inspected and serviced as described on his website. Wilson Watch Works is a factory authorized service center for Marathon watches and they do fantastic work. I really don’t wear it but keep it wound and haven’t noticed any real time gain or loss due to being an automatic. It’s really a very nice watch. As I said the recent servicing, tritium vials and new bezel ring cost me $450 alone.
