I've been itching to get a Marbles knife with stacked leather handle and stag pommel for a while, I've got some money in PayPal and a good excuse for my girlfriend so I'm all set to order one.

However, I haven't heard much about the current quality of their knives, and since they outsource their axes and pocket knives I was a bit worried that their fixed blades might not be as good as they once were.

What do you gents think about them?

I have a Trailmaker and a Sport that I have purchased within the last year and the quality is very good.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask if anybody has experience with Marbles Outer knives?

I see one company is selling them off for about 75 dollars with various bone scales, they were made around 2001. Anybody have one know about the quality? An Outer knife would make an excellent forum knife some year!

How about a link to those?

I just pooped in after a few weeks away. I also have a fieldcraft and it is a very well made knife. I got it sometime back around Feb. or Mar. I had wanted one for a while and just kept playing the bay game until I won an auction at the price I was willing to go. Mine is the "something" wood (can't recall) and stag. I was quite pleased with it.

Well, I ordered a Woodcraft and a Case red bone slimline trapper with CV blade. :)

A mate of mine will bring them to Argentina a week before Christmass.
