I am looking at a marbles on fleabay. It is from the pree Chinese era, stacked leather handle, nice looking roughly 20 years old and from an estate sale never carried. Anyway, has any one of you guys had expierience with marbles? How is their carbon steel? How tough are they?

Thanx guys

They are good knives and if you can get one of the classics then don't wait.

20 years old???

That doesnt really fit into any of there production time frames, unless its a Parker copy. Something doesnt sound right, do you have a picture?

if its 20 years old or even 10 years old, its a completely different company, owner and knives (same pattern name but they steel and shapes are different) than the one that just filed for bankrupsy.

IF it is truely around 20 years old, Parker owned the Marbles name in that time frame. Most collectors consider then conterfeit Marbles. They are no where near the quality of knife as the MArbles before them or the ones after.

Marbles stopped making knives in Gladstone in the 60's. They didnt start making them again till 97 to 2002.
