March 2023 - Something has got to give ... and what's with the Buck Custom Bowie

March and April are going to busy.
The 916 was meant as a replica as stated above and back then the handle was quite a bit smaller.

Thanks, for the feedback. I did realize that it was meant as a replica from the discussion in a previous thread. But to be brutally honest, replica or not, the handle doesn't do it for me. I love Buck knives (I think I may have 4 or 5 hundred of them), so all is not lost. I can't like everything, although sometimes it seems I do.

the 916 should get a redesign of the tang width and length and handle size. to make it a useable knife. could be really great.

Personally I think this would an almost perfect dream knife of mine if it had a 119 sized blade, it would be spot on for a vest pocket Bowie or turn of the century Bowie hunter.
