March Buck of the Month

I'm wondering if Craig (300) got one ? I know he love's all of Bucks slippies..
 
I was probably harsh in my judgement, it is a nice pattern, with a premium handle material, it's made in USA, and it's a limited edition. Worth the money, just not to me.

I really dig this program. Gives something to look forward to, they haven't gotten my money yet, but one of these months they will. Looking forward to next month already.
 
Gee, all the discussion about price and if "Elk" is "Stag"....
.... but not one person commented on the brass bolsters.
 
I need to clarify my “Catalog Knife” comment. They were not all Buck Catalog knives. Many of those in the photo were SMKW exclusives typically available for a single year. Manufactured in the hundreds or thousands of pieces.

Sorry if I lead anyone to believe these were all Buck releases in their catalogs.

I’m looking forward to the brass and elk! I seen it in the description, but the photos are nickel (at least one appears to be anyway). The photo and description of last week’s 124 was clip point but apparently they were standard 124 blades. Happened before with the 112 and macassar too.

Buck LEs are like a box of chocolates...
 
Might be my eyes but it looks like these have a stonewash finish. I also noticed they come with a leather pouch.
 
I saw the stone wash too, but thought it was my eyes. Congratulations to all who got one.
 
Showed up today. Other than being absolutely filthy, it’s really a nice addition. The elk is sized well and color is a good match on both sides. I used spit and a paper towel to get some of the residue off the blades.

I got mine today, it was also filthy?? It looks like and comes off like Gray Polishing Compound?? Looks real nice one you get it cleaned. The brass bolsters are cool!!! Really brings out the stag...

I have been lurking in the shadows watching everybody's every move.

Nice knives everyone. I should have grabbed one up. Boy these "Buck of the month" knives go fast.
