Marco has docked

It's a "virtual choil." It's only there if you believe it is. And it doesn't show up when photographed.

Jerry's moving into the 21st Century. Or maybe the 22nd.;)

You sure it's not Jerry Busse in the 24th and ½ century! :D :D

looking at mine, and at the Bolos in the posts I see that the size of the choil varies quite a bit from knife to knife.

I concure that the choil varies from knife to knife. This and example of ikkyo's MB and mine..

ikkyo's knife has practically not choil, the edge "dies" into the Talon Hole, while mine has a definite "step"

I actually prefer your choil better gator, to me it adds comfort in use on this size knife. On the first knife that choil might irritate larger fingers if used for long periods. That's why it's a Proto IMO, they figured 'work the choil a bit more' on the run. I bet if you compare 'run' knives they are more similiar to yours' gator.

it seems, that mine is narrower at it's widest, too.
I i would prefer the shape of your blade, too.
maybe it's just what I got used to it...
