Just took delivery on this from Marcus Lin ("flatgrinder") a few months ago. A really superb Loveless style knife. However, because of an eyesight issue, I'm eliminating parts of my collection and the New York Specials are all going.
About 15-20 "work-in-progress" digital images will be included with the knife, but not in this thread.
Specifications:
Overall: 7" - Images with and without maker's mark
Blade Length: 3"
Steel: Mirror polished Sandvik 12C27 blade heat treated to HRC 61 with a tapered tang.
Scales: Desert Ironwood Burl w/ thin red liners
Guard and Fittings: 410 Stainless (Soldered Guard)
Condition: Perfect, Mint
This one has the new style of sheath that the Loveless shop was last using for their NYS's. The wetformed sheath was still drying, as you can see, when the image was taken.
First email to rbetznerr@sbcglobal.net saying "I'll take it" gets it.
