Marfione/Microtech Proto Flipper - Look Familiar?

OK, I have to say something here. ...I was at the show also and when Tony was asked if this was a collaboration of some sort Tony would reply with an absolute "NO"! ...But Tony did make mention to the Russian maker of the SiDis’s knives.

And here's another little tidbit of truth for you "Droppoint1110". That's "MY" picture that "I" personally took. Yes, I take full responsibility for that crappy pic you jacked! ...Those MT Flippers were beautiful when seen in person.

What's your point? Your pictures should look better if they're used without your permission, right? And he didn't even try to pass them off as his own.

I sincerely hope this all comes back to bite Tony in the ass given that he just lost a customer for life. I find it disappointing that there were people willing to shell out over 3 times the original asking price for it. I'm also curious as to whether or not they stole the KVT design as well.

I would strongly suggest KAI open up a fundraiser for the obligatory lawsuit so we can pitch in for the grilling. Forget well-done, I want my steak "carbonized". Hell, throw in an article in Blade magazine to top it off. Sticky a notice on these forums.

I nominate Microtech as a whole for the Hall of Shame:

I saw these at NYCKS. I thought they looked extremely close to the 0777. I actually asked Mr. Marfione about it and the story I got from him is that they worked with the original designerof the 0777.

i also stopped by the table and mentioned the ZT0777. from that encounter i was under the impression that the original designer authorized MT's model. to hear that the design was stolen, one word comes to mind: disgusting.
