Such a funny quote, true or not.

I can relate to that.

I feel the regular Tuf-Cloth/Tuf-Glide smells better than the Marine Tuf-Cloth, though I guess that's one of the trade-offs for a more heavy-duty protection.

I like the smell of marine tuf-cloth.It keeps the wife and the critters out of the room for a while and is a blessing itself.Sometimes I pull the cloth out even when I`m not polishing knives:-)

Unocide, you may now consider yourself a true knife knut.

Actually, I don't think it smells THAT bad, really. BTW, I've got that big 8oz refill bottle; I've only used the Marine Tuf-Cloth a few times. When do you guys think I should "restore" it? Also, once I open that bottle, can it still be stored for a long time, or does it lose its effectiveness once opened and stored?

Thanks
Howie

Never mind, wrong flashback

Me too!
I like the smell of tuf-cloth; it reminds me of polishing some fine knives.
When I use ballistol my wife also complains about the smell.
Opens the window:" was it realy necessary to polish your knives again?"
That's why I changed to tuf-cloth.
My wife doesn't like that smell either.
But my knives need some polishing!!!

Red Mag is right. If you think Tuf-Cloths smell bad, try Ballistol. It's horrible!

I also like the smell of the tuf-cloth compared to some of the alternatives - I've been waving it around my living room as an air freshener. I thought it might be one more of the many uses... The only product I can't stand the smell of is EEZOX.
