Good Day,

My first non sheath related product!

I made these wire rope bails for the Guyot Nalgene Steel Bottles...

On the bottle with the normal Guyot lid...

On the bottle, with the HumanGear capCap...

Just the bail...

These wire rope bails for your Guyot Nalgene Stainless Steel Bottle fit both the Standard (38 oz), and the Backpacker (32 oz). They allow you to suspend your Stainless Steel Bottle over a fire to boil water (just remember to take the cap off!).

These wire rope bails are easy to install, secure in use, yet removable.

In use, the bail is flexible enough to easily held out of the way while drinking from the bottle. It is also flexible enough to be tucked into the pocket of your bag or backpack with the bottle, or you could remove and store it separately, perhaps coiling it up, and storing it under the bottle.

They are $12 each or two for $20, shipping complimentary in the US and Canada.

Thanks for looking!
Marion

Note - I am not selling the GSI Cup, nor the Guyot Nalgene Bottle, nor the Humangear capCap, just the Flexible Bail for the Stainless Bottles.

Also note - I take no responsibility for how you use this bail, it's constituent parts, the stainless steel bottle you will attach it to, or whatever else you may choose to do. I make no guarantee of this product's suitability for any particular task. By purchasing this product, you are acknowledging that all responsibility for it's safe, ethical, legal, and moral use is yours and no one else's.

PS - I thought I might add a link to the review that mistwalker did of my bail over in the WSS forum.... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=725640

Will they fit another size water bottle? I'd like one for my Kleen Kanteen. If they're multi-sized, I'll take one (even if it doesn't fit the Kleen, I'll probably take one).

Marion, to remove, do you just slip the end loops over the stoppers?

If they really are easy to put on and take off, I will take two. I've been meaning to make a couple of these for a while now, just haven't gotten around to it...so I might as well pick up a couple of yours :D

Will not fit the Klean Kanteen, this is just for the Guyot, though I may offer one for the Klean Kanteen in the future.

Only one side is designed to be easily removable.

They are very easy to work. No drama.

Two it is!

I got mine and it's great! I bought the bail even before my Nalgene SS bottle and I haven't received my Nalgene bottle in the mail yet, but the Bail you made me works even on my Kleen Kanteens. Workmanship is stellar and I expect it will fit like a glove over the Nalgene. Thanks again!

I just recently and unexpectedly had to start taking care of my grandfather, so I have not had the internet access I have been used to.

I will try to reply later today, thank you for your patience.

Thanks Marion great idea with the bail!!

I now have a whole system that fits nicely in my nalgene neoprene coozy!!

all items in second pic fit inside the blue coozy with no rattle!! I wrapped the bail around the cup, and since I use the nalgene backpacker it tapers at the bottom...so there is room for the gatorade package in the cup with the bottle as well!!

can't wait to use it camping! now I have a great emergency set up or for normal ultralight camping days with no stove or jetboil to carry!
