I had ordered a custom sheath for a B11 last Fall from Marion and got some good results. I wrote to him in June for a second order and after 2 weeks of waiting, finally heard back from him (''family crisis'' was quoted). I sent him another Busse for another sheath to be made and since, NO Response. All I get is what seems like an auto-response entitled ''Still here''. My calls go unanswered for the 5th week in a row.... Not only am I annoyed but I need the freakin' blade man.

Anyone know what`s going on with the dude ???
 
I ordered a mule sheath from Marion long before this event happened to his father and it did take a while to get the sheath. He does do great work though.
 
guy on another forum I frequent had similar problems - had his $$ and his custom blades for several months -- guy finally threatened legal action and got his blades back, but Marion kept the $$ he had paid up front for the sheaths...

Bullshit- the guys been a flake for years and the fan base keeps him going.

He's posted every excuse known to man.

If you deal with him you desrve the worst he can offer and he Will deliver that.

This. He couldnt pay me to deal with him, and if anyone ever asks me about him, Ill give them the names of a half dozen other makes with integrity.
 
Looks like he has enough time to sell his sheaths on the Bay. 8 feedback total, 2 are negative...off to a great start!
 
After several emails to and from Marion agreed to make a sheath for me and we had great communication until he received my knife and the money for the sheath. Then all communication from him stopped.
He cashed the USPS money order as soon as he got it and I did not hear another thing from him.

After almost 100 emails to him with no response and a certified letter that he picked up I finally got my knife back with a letter telling of his dad.
There was no Kydex sheath for my knife and he kept the money I sent him for the sheath.

IMO the guy is a thief. Do not do business with him.

Don't forget too file a fraud complaint with usps. I hear they are building a file on him with all them cashed mo's not being returned.
 
Many calls, as many eMails and a few voicemails since I last posted on this.... Still nothing. No one to pick-up the phone (spoke to him about 1 year ago), not one voicemail returned and eMails go into some blackhole ...... DUDE !!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU THERE ??????????????????? WTF MAN !
 
How many more of these threads/experiences will it take until Mr. Poff is given a well-deserved place in the Hall of Shame? :confused:
