I am sure that I am in the very small minority, but the pragmatist in me prefers the looks and utility of a tumbled or lightly acid washed finish over a shiny finely ground blade. The former says I will or might use it. The latter says, “Ooh, Safe Queen” to me.

That knife is HOT looking to me either way!
