For several years custom knifemaker Mark Nevling of Burr Oak knives has produced some of the most unique, interesting damascus we have seen. While we have stocked knives from Mr. Nevling for a few years now, we believe these are some of his finest knives to date. We picked up six pieces in total from Mr. Nevling, five fixed blade models and a tactical folder featuring W2 sandwich steel with superconductor bolsters and lightning strike carbon fiber scales. My personal favorite is a knife Mark is calling his "sideways knife", which utilizes an integral look and is pinned from the top and bottom scales. Reasonably priced, we think you'll agree, Mark makes some of the finest damascus pieces on the market today in his price range.
