I read about Mark Terrell's WSK (Tracker) on another thread and after finding the below link am intrigued.

D-2 or S30V Steel... A large variety of handle materials... The Harbinger, Hardin WSK, & The USK (Urban Survival Knife)
... Nice.

Has anyone ordered from Mark Terrell directly? Any feedback? From reading the website it sounds like the what time can be variable depending on what model you want unless you go to one of the dealers that carries his knives.
 
i have a usk knife on order with him right now. its been about 6 months and i just emailed him a few days ago to let him know i moved / status of my order, and i still haven't heard back from him. i'f i don;t get a email by this weekend i'm going to give him a call. i'll keep you posted.

Just curious, does Mark have you put a deposit or pay up front?
 
Mark is a great knifemaker and a great guy.

I was able to talk to Mark on the phone and we worked out exactly what I wanted.

Full tang D2 with micarta scales.... he calls this (classic hunter) his "stealth" model. He offers it in both flat and hollow grind.

Hey HKHunter, sorry I haven't replied yet. I didn't get the email out of my spam box until I saw this today. Reply will be incoming asap.

If I'm slow to respond, it's because I get something like 500-600 emails a week, about 100-150 of those are legit. I had to set my spam filter to "safe list only" because someone got my email (the one that's not the one I use for online orders with companies etc...), and now I get all sorts of b.s. Viagra, stock market emails and whatnot. Gotta love spammers.

I have one of Marks knives a Hangnail. The purchase and communication were both fine. I called and left a message and he got right back to me. After that everything went smooth. I would not hesitate to deal with this gentleman again.
