Mark made a trade deal with me for the sweater at the end of January. He said that he was involved in specialty groceries, and would send me some nice items in exchange.


He sent a message on February 1 indicating that the sweater arrived the previous week, and that he would get some items on the way "soon enough".


He responded again on February 26 saying that he was still working on it and that items would be on the way soon.


He responded again on April 10th saying that he would do his best to get the items out that week, and I had his word on it.


He sent me an email on May 11 saying that he would get it to me next week. I indicated that I really wanted to close the issue out, and I did not wish to leave negative feedback if at all possible.


I sent him an email on June 4 asking for the tracking number, saying that the package may have been lost - no response.


I sent him a PM on June 6 saying that if paypal was easier than shipping items, to PP me $35 and everything would be good. No response as of today.


Contacted the mods, and a suggestion to post this was made.


So, I will, as my previous message stated, accept $35 paypal from Mark - shipping was half of that - and the issue will be closed and good.

And no insult to you but surprising what people will do for just a $35 sweater.

Thanks for the help. Should not have to go to these lengths for a simple trade. Made every attempt at due diligence on my end....
 
I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the Davison.... Something just didn't feel right about the wording and the admitted reluctance to take paypal so I hesitated. Logged on to look for the thread and found it closed....

I hope it works out for both parties.... glad I'm not in the middle of a mess at this point.
 
Mark has contacted me, and I've forwarded the info to Burban, I hope things can worked out amicably and no one gets unnecessarily dragged over the coals and roasted.

Response was as anticipated, unfortunately. Too painful to continue trying.


I release Mr. Tytla from any commitments or promises that he made in email or pm messages.
