Markesharp Custom Cutlery Photos

That is some Primo bark ivory!
I feel extremely fortunate
What a sheyn meser !
I like bling, stay tuned for the Chile Relleno Patina
Beautiful work, Mark! Good to see you, Jon!
Mark has outstanding personal experience with hunting knives, and his sense of aesthetic, and feel in the hand are things I greatly admire and respect. Thanks to all for the kind welcome also.
Like a unique mazzāl of attributes! May it represent the light of the sefirot of Chesed in it for you, Jon:D
blessings to you as well, thanks for playing, "google my Yiddish" :-)

stay tuned for more pics of Markesharp Creations.. trivia bit, it turns out Mark sheathed this knife to carry in left handed draw position instinctively.. (Mark side out)

I learned a few things from him about his reasoning, as an experienced hunter, for sheathing for left hand draw.

The sheath is a Bark River necker generously included by Mark, it has magnetic retention.. which also makes it hold to metal surfaces, such as a fridge or the metal dash in my Van. I will experiment with Mark vs Pile side out, before possibly doing a bit of wet molding, though the sheath works fine as is with either handle side out.

Here is a Markesharp "Guppy" NessFinger? I gifted to a close friend. They move it from the fridge to the Van when they go camping… Im told its a good cream cheese spreader too.

Mark already has three different blade profiles in fixed blades, and I suspect more to come.. Can we help him Fish for names? LOL!
might this be a ClippedGuppy?… anyone care to play, "name this knife"? I hear this one is good at slicing bagels.

could this be a Markesharp RedSnapper? I hear its a great Salmon Slicer..

For those of you with Marks Guppy aka NessFinger, the Bark River Adventurer Necker 2 sheath with magnetic retention, is outstandingly versatile, works on a belt, in pocket, even as a neck knife... highly recommended!.. fwiw, my Guppy weighs 94 grams naked, 158 grams sheathed.

This BEAUTIFUL copper and warm Stag Fish Barlow arrived yesterday!!! Fellow forum members this is an amazing knife:thumbup:

The blade is ROCK SOLID with no play period...Mark builds a solid worker that could easily just sit and be admired...BUT that would sacreligious as this screams to be carried and used!!! I took so many pictures but I will try to pair down from the many pictures I took:o The Stag is absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! Marks proprietary method to achieve this wonderful color amazes me:cool::thumbup:

Beautiful knives Jon. The Ivory Congress is my favorite GEC of all time. One day, if only!

Thank you Jeff, I am very happy to own this Barlow. Looking forward to seeing the bolsters naturally patina;)

So much greatness in here, Mark, you are truly gifted my friend. I need to get on your list, let me know when you are ready to tackle a single spring double ended jack knife :D

I really like that micarta barlow but your stag, man, that's looking good. Keep up the great work!

Got in my FishBone Barlow and am impressed, well done Mark.

I asked Mark to make it in a 3 5/8 length, like a #77 GEC, perfect length for my hands. And I wanted a little thicker than usual, so he didn't grind down the liners as much. Feels substantial in hand, real nice weight to it. It has about an 8 in the pull, but there is enough width on the clip so that I can actually "pinch", well actually "grip" , it open. Done some cooking with it this morning. Last night an apple snack.

I am a lefty and that hungry fish is ready to take a bite , with that blade open. Well done Mark

And Mark was very generous in gifting me a prototype Clip fixed blade. Thanks Mark!!!

Thank you all for the kind words, I am humbled. :o This would be impossible without your support and for that I am truly grateful. :)

Okay, I got to get back to work, I have quite a few knives to make.

Mark
