Market find Kukri

Hey everyone, I just bought a kukri from a market in Bangkok, Thailand, by some Nepalese guys. For around US$30 once converted. Im assuming its some junky kukri, am I right?

It's a souvenir but only use/sharpening will tell if it's heat-treated within the range of the acceptable,
 
I see i see, thanks for the confirmation. To think that they initially wanted 4 times the price i got it for is just absolutely ridiculous.
