Yvsa: You would need a computer that has not a CD-ROM ( Read Only Memory ) like a CD player ( music ) or reader ( data ) but a computer CD-RW deck. That stands for CD ( compact disc ) write once, read many times/write and ReWrite.
It just boils down to having the ability to make your own CD's. Including storing data/documents permanently if you wish. Like the Archives. Once it's on the disc, you can put the disc into the computer, copy it to your hard drive, take the disc out, and burn a new copy or a hundred copies off of your hard drive. When you are finished, you have your original CD, you have as many duplicates as you want, and you have a copy on the hard drive you don't need, so you can wipe the drive copy.
Costs from 180 to 200 bucks for a CD RW deck.
I don't have one. There's other ways too. Big floppy discs, 120 to 200 Megabytes each.
Don't have one of those either. Wouldn't know how to work it if I did. But someone knows.
