This guy took both of these knives apart.
These screws for the black knife were not tight and heads of the screws show that they were taken out. You can also see wear inside the chassis when you have the knife apart.
The stainless steel Halo also shows signs it was taken apart AND something very bad like loctite was used on one of the screws. Even with greasing it and heating it, the screw broke. I think the screw might have already been broken because it began to turn immediately without pressure. The screw head shows at some point it was taken off before me. I applied almost no pressure to turn the screw before it slid out of the body.
I have NEVER had a Halo 5 screw break. I applied a bit more heat to see if I could get the broken part to come out of the body. It will not turn.
