This is the new Orwell design with the slightly shadowboxed handles.
The handles are Linen Maroon Micarta left at a nice matte finish.
Grain is super tight and fairly visible in the "Matte" condition
Handles are 3D machined with a nice palm swell and fit.
This Maroon is great in knife blocks or carried with the optional sheath.
The handles are secured in place with custom SS 416 Corby Black Oxide fasteners but are removable. Creating a whole new set of options. . . .
I designed this knife for the best possible feel in the hand. I thought about how I normally hold a knife while eating or using a small knife in the kitchen

BOHLER M390 powered metal technology.

Basically, HIGH Chromium content=highest corrosion resistance and best edge retention at high hardness

4.5" blade length, 8.5" OAL
.110" @ spine, ground to .007/.008" at the edge before sharpening.
Slices REALLY well!
I can do these scales on a polished blade or stonewash. Both are available and will ship immediately.
I have enjoyed meeting many BF members and have really felt at home.

Price on the Maroon is $110 EA TYD via paypal or MO/Check.
Price breaks start at qty 2 or more.
International shipping slightly more.

Much less finishing work on these Orwell, hence the price difference from my Gatsby knives.
Black Kydex Custom David Brown Sheath available for $45 if shipped with a knife
I am working on some new projects too, add yourself to the newsletter list thru the website and I will keep you posted.
Basically I need to sell a few more Orwells to fund the next projects:)

Thank you in advance for your support!
