martiini knives?

Hmm, same line as my Condor then I think. Mine came with a good edge. Not shaving sharp IIRC, but it would make fuzz sticks easily.

Its a stick tang. It extends about a 1/4 inch past where the last pin is on the one i did for Joe.

wow Tim, thanks for that info. It goes alot farther back than the mora of the same critter.

I really love my red handled martinni.

A fantastic blade!!

I'm having Tim Horan re-make a handle for mine. I said make it thick and he sent me this. What do you think?

Needs a lanyard.

The ones I have have been very well made and give a lot for the money.

The leather pouch sheathes are very secure and well-made too.

I have 2 in particular that I like a great deal: The Condor Skinner, green rubberized handle, martef stainless blade about 9" overall with bronze guard.Very sharp, excellent grip and sheath. The other is a carbon puukko with grey coloured birch handle, deadly sharp and easy to use. Marttiini are all hidden tang puukko style knives, YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE TOUCHING metal in Finnish winter temps! They are better made and finished than Moras but do cost more of course.
