I bought this as it is several years ago with the intention of building it into a nice guitar.
D28 which means spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides.
Someone has tried multiple times at placing the bridge and failed miserably
My plans were to either cover it up with a large double pick guard, cut out a section of the top and replace it with a similar grained sound hole cutout from a builder, or if need be, replace the top.
With a little work by the right person, this could be a great guitar especially considering the low cost you’d have invested.
Included is the body, and the neck with the adjustable truss rod and fingerboard already attached.
I’m not sure if Martin still sells these kits but back when they did they cost upwards of $700. I’m selling this as is for $350 shipped!
