Andy,

That's awesome! I think there are going to be goloks flying south to your shop....

Scary. I've no time for that...LOL.

There will be three more (I already have them) going out to be sold for Ram's college fund. But it may take me a while to get to them.

I think that by virtue of your post, you have the long-honored knifemaker's obligation to rehandle at least a couple... (just kidding) I would love to have mine done, but I wouldn't dare nag (at least not till you finish my nessie)!!

I think you need to send it to me to make sure you did it right. :D Just kidding. Very nicely done.
Scott

Thanks guys!!

You're nessmuk is #7 on my list right now.

There is a thread full of knife pics for you guys to see in the makers gallery seciton right now!!!

Andy, you are an artist, that looks great and I'll bet it feels great too:)

Made a rod for your back now! Nice work, its really great to see a good affordable tool made better.

Andy,

#7, I can't wait! Life is very good, a nessie from you and Ilbruche is redoing my RD7... I just hope you don't get an infraction for "teasing the forumites" with this golok project...

Nice looking mod :) I just ordered a new full size Martindale Golok to replace one I let a friend buy from me years ago :D For the money they are hard to beat. All they need is a little edge TLC outa the box and you have a helluva chopper!

I agree. They're a good combination of light/hefty. The taper on the blade really does outstanding things for its performance on brush/light stuff. Yet the stouter area at the sweet spot makes it good on 2-3" limbs, etc.
