Nice looking mod I just ordered a new full size Martindale Golok to replace one I let a friend buy from me years ago For the money they are hard to beat. All they need is a little edge TLC outa the box and you have a helluva chopper!

I agree. They're a good combination of light/hefty. The taper on the blade really does outstanding things for its performance on brush/light stuff. Yet the stouter area at the sweet spot makes it good on 2-3" limbs, etc.:thumbup:
