Marttiini knives - What is the blade steel?

A local knife store has three or four Marttiini knives. Black handle I believe they are the Condor knives. Nice looking, the blades are like mirrors, and they are wicked sharp, and all are less than $30.

Any good? The sales guy said the blades are AUS 8. True/False?

I looked at that site. They talk about a special Marttiini steel, but that's it. I was wondering what common knife steel is it comparable to. Some other threads on Marttiini knives mention that some of their blades have better steels than others, and I'm wondering specifically about the Condor line.
