This has been used and carried a decent amount, and the bolsters and blade show that. I tried to picture all carry marks. Marty has a spa service for the lifetime of his blades. The lockup is superb and the action is very good, I currently have it a little tight, but you can loosen it for a crazy smooth action with zero bladeplay still.
