I have noticed that we are getting a large number of members from Mass. I would like to know if any of you would like to get together this spring and have a hammer in, cookout & etc. We could even start a Mass. Knife Assocation(whatever)?????

A spring hammer in- that would be very cool!! Count me in! And a mass knife association would help out other makers in mass!! that would be cool too! The NCCA has more pocket knife collectors than makers. A seperate association would be appreciated.

Just found the thread, I'd be very much interested in the goining. I'm really new to the whole making/working of knives and would be very interested in meeting others.

Even though I'm just over the border, I'd like to attend. I haven't built any knives yet, but am planing on doing so.

I've been forging blades for about a year and a half now, and aside from a class at Mass Art and a few friends, I don't know anyone else around who makes knives. I would really like to attend just to see who else is out there.

K.S.,

Mass art has knife making/forging classes? If so, I would love to check that out.

Hey Saberman,

I'm right over in Leverett. I'm putting together a small shop situation right now and am planning on grinding some blades as soon as my grinder gets here. You're welcome to come over anytime. My number is 548-9948.

George,
As you know, I'm down in Alabama now, but I'll have to join to maintain my Yankee status. Count me in.

Are nonknife makers welcome? Will associate memberships be made available? I don't make knives but I have been known buy a few. It would be nice to see you knife makers in action.
