MASSACHUSETT REPRESENTATION

I hope I didn't give the wrong impression. Anyone who has any type of knife interest is more than welcomed and it is not limited to Mass.
Tom M. (the displaced Yankee) when are you visiting your sister up here? We could diffently learn from your skills.

There is a basic bladesmithing class that should be starting soon. The instructor is ABS mastersmith J D Smith. I learned more in the 15 weeks of that class than I did with a year of trial and error and books. Just give Mass Art a call and ask for the continuing Ed department. They can hook you up with a course booklet or answer any other questions. After that class ends there is a 5 week damascus and mokume class, but the basic class is a pre-rec.

Thanks! If not this one perhaps one down the line. I knew JD has a shop in the warehouse section of South Boston, not far from me. Didn't realize he was teaching though. Great info.
