I wanted to post this because i have heard massdrop has upped their customer service lately.
My experience with them was very good. I ordered a gavko thresher and when I got it i really liked it. I quickly noticed that the blade could be moved about 1/8" when opened. It was almost like lock rock but you had to apply some small pressure. It would not simply rock back and forth by shaking the knife.
I emailed them and they immediatley sent a new one and sent me a prepaid label to return the old one. I didnt have to send it first, they sent me a new one on good faith.
The replacement knife had the exact same issue. Im starting to think they all may have it. The lockbar is a strange shape and the relief cut is at a strange angle. I think the lockbar may just flex easily.
I emailed them again and they offered to refund me or let me keep the knife with a partial refund and a store credit. I opted for the full refund. Again they sent a prepaid label and immediately refunded me the full price. Paypal is very slow to process the refund but it shows massdrop approved it already.
I am curious if other people are having the same issue with the knife or maybe just havent noticed it. Either way massdrop couldnt have been better. No bs. No waiting.
