SOLD For your consideration, this Massdrop Ferrum Forge Crux Bronze Juggernaut. Twenty two photos here https://imgur.com/a/cWVeo1P
And five more here https://imgur.com/a/jH1MQBF
$105 PayPal G&S SOLD
This one has never been carried or used for cutting other than a few pieces of paper. But it’s been handle and flipped many times. Well broken in and an excellent flipper. There are a couple of micro scratches on the blade as shown circled in red. Feel free to zoom in on all 27 photos for further details. I think this would make an excellent EDC knife. IMHO It’s beautiful, it’s smooth, it’s fast, it’s a free dropper, it’s centered and it’s factory sharp. I paid $135.
I’m selling this and other knives to help fund other purchases (and I promised the Mrs I would try to sell a few). I’m not desperate. I really like this knife at $135. It’s even better at $105. I’m not looking for trades. If you want it delivered by a postman, to your door, you know what to do below:
I’ll take it
The Crux is the Drop second collaboration with Ferrum Forge Knife Works, a two-man operation out of San Diego known for producing small batches of custom knives. A full-sized folder, the Crux is equipped with a drop-point blade made from S35VN steel, widely regarded as one of the best blade steels on the market. At 3.4 inches, the blade can tackle tough everyday tasks with ease. And it pairs with a strong and lightweight 6AL4V titanium handle with a built-in frame lock for secure lockup. Finally, there’s a matching titanium pocket clip for tip-up carry on either side.
S35VN STEEL
Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
