Would love to hear how it goes. This has been a really easy carry for me and I’ve been using it to cut real actual stuff. Using a knife and not just flipping it, heresy! I know.

Wait, I’m supposed to use the tool? I thought it was for internet points! Just kidding, I have no room for safe queens in my collection so I’m excited to see how useful this knife is for actual cutting, in the hand it feels like it wants to be used. I ain’t been this excited about a knife since I first got my 940!

You hit the nail on the head with that insight. IMO, MD hit some home runs last year (Laconico Keen, Buc, Gent) but as far as I’m concerned, they spent the first half of this year swinging and missing.
 
Day one update: I felt that the detent was getting stiffer at about 1300, but when I got home and reapplied lube to the button, it does not feel like the detent has weakened. Perhaps my fingers are still getting used to the flipping motion. Will update tomorrow as allowed.
Overall the knife performed well for light use, I'll be excited to get a harder use task so the CPM 20CV steel can really stretch it's legs!
 
$180 usd is a fantastic price. Mine cost me almost $380 AUD shipped. One of my more expensive knives but it’s definitely worth it.
 
I love this knife. Bought it on day one. Came pretty dull so I put a fresh edge on it. Insanely fun and slim and light. Really hoping they do something along the lines of a sheepsfoot or Insingo, but I doubt it.

That price drop made me tempted to purchase again... but seems like a waste just to have it destroyed by the CBSA.
