This is a monster. It is a traditional Bowie by ICC and comes with an excellent guaranty. I think this one went for between $550 and $600 when purchased.

I will take $345 shipped

I like his warranty. No bones about it, any issues and he wants to know about it. Easy to work with.

I'll pull it out of the safe in a few hours and get dimensions off it, but roughly it is an 8 inch blade length. The blade is wider than any other blade I own. It is massive and saber ground so you feel the heft.

Dimensions
OAL = 13.5 inches
Blade Length = 8.25 inches
blade width = Just over 2 inches wide
Thickness = 1/4 inch
weight = Unlimited:D

INDEPENDENCE CUSTOM CUTLERY
TACTICAL/COMBAT KNIVES

Independence Custom Cutlery (ICC) began with one man's desire to make the ultimate battle blade, one that would not break when it mattered most. J.D. Phillips(that's me) spent 2 years in the 20th Special Forces Group (National Guard). During that time I broke every knife that I could get my hands on during the missions I went on. This instilled in me the desire for a knife that would stand up to the worst abuse a soldier could put it through. So, in 1993, I started making knives part-time. Using an 8-inch grinder, a 1-inch belt sander, and a drimel I began pursing my dream. My early knives were sold under the name of "J.D. Phillips Custom Knives". In 1999, due to a back injury, I decided to pursue my dream full-time. Hardy Arnold, my father-in-law was living with me at this time and was looking for something to do. So, we joined resources to create ICC (Independence Custom Cutlery). We pulled on our experiences in the military (Mr. Arnold was a lifer,22 years, in the Army.) and compared notes to design a knife that would meet all the possible requirements that a soldier could have and not break under normal abuse, based on design limitations (some knives are made for stabbing that will not do well hacking). We believe that we have finally succeeded. To date there are 7 combat knife models and 2 urban tactical knife models. We also have a 13-inch bowie, a neck knife design,and a tactical companion, with more in development.

The ICC Custom made combat knives are heat treated and subzero quenched by Custom Maker D'Alton Holder to HRC 58. Holder uses a company that heat treats for NASA to heat treat his knives. All Knives are also Cryo'd

Most knives are guaranteed, if you break it, we want to know about it! * We want you to be satisfied, so feel free to contact us with any problems you may encounter with our knives. *
