*Magnificent massive (Rare) Daniel Winkler vintage primitive style Bowie Knife, one of two just purchased from the original owner.

*Approx. 12.5" hammer marked Blade (5/16ths " @ Spine with "DW" signature mark), 18-3/8" Total Length; Elk Antler handle with magnificent color...fancy "S" shaped guard

*Includes beautiful hand made rustic, rawhide-covered fringed leather sheath by Karen Shook

*As new condition...never used or sharpened or carried (remember, it's supposed to look vintage!); Includes certificate of authenticity signed by Daniel, and original order docs/letter of confirmation from Daniel (to be shipped separately)

*Additional Details: Blade forged 5160 carbon steel; Large Bowie with Wrought Iron "S" guard and Cap, hidden tang Elk Antler handle with wrapped brass ferrule and antique accents/finish. The Sheath is covered with Rawhide and nicely decorated.

*If you know how Daniel Winkler prices his knives, you know he does so very exactingly, with each component of the knife priced, then added together to come up with the exact total price. Current cost for a similar set from Daniel lists at $2100.

Are you sure this is a brass ferrule and not copper? Sure is a nice big bowie, good looking knife.
