Massive Retribution in S30V

Jerry was kind enough to allow me to visit his shop today and hold this bad boy! Man, it is the lightest quickest handling piece of steel you can imagine!!!!!:D :D The grinds are incredible and it is as close to flawless as I can imagine. SCHWEEEEEEEEET!
Jerry is a great guy and makes some INCREDIBLE knives!!!!:eek: :eek:

Pete with some luck, I should have 3. One is in a set though.

The Ghost finish is an brushed/etched/brushed process. It does a couple things. I did it first as an alternative to bead blasting to make the surface non-reflective. As a bonus, I learned that it also makes the steel more corrosion resistant, since it removes the most corrosion prone materials from the surface and leaves behind protective oxides. I like it because it is very durable, and doesn't show scratches much at all.
