Btw, with german laws beeing as they are - how does one proceed to get a custom order placed ?

Don't worry, you'll have your day.
How are german laws? do they forbid khukuri?
To place a custom order you must first talk with the owner,Yangdu, by emailing her at HIMIMP@aol.com. She may take your order, but right now it may take awhile to fill as the shop is a few kami's short right now. Hopefully this situation will be fixed soon. Please see this post:

Lal Bura treatment started in his first investigation Doctor said that he has high blood pressure and some neuron problem. Dr. prescribed him medicines for two weeks and for further investigation and check up Dr. called him again after two weeks. His is taking medicine now.

Yeah, even if he doesn't make more knives, he is a great asset as a mentor and teacher to the new kamis!
Young Sher is an example of what he can do simply teaching. :)

Sorry, I think I will be keeping it for along time. While it isn't a user, it sure is pretty and has a nice stand made for it now and resides on my display shelf. I really like it a lot.

Keep checking though, they do turn up and I am sure you will get your chance. We all do eventually.;)
 
Ok, thanks. I note on Bladeforums that lotsa folks get something, (or more accurately, many somethings), and then clearn the shelves of the safe/display case out to make room (and money) for something else.

I guess I'm just calling 'future dibs' on such a piece.

I have more khuks by Bura than by any other Kami. I just hope he's not suffering too much.
