All,
One of our BCC advisory board members is searching for a 501MS. I know they are very difficult to find but if any of you know of one which is available, please advise. The club member is John Miner and he lives near Albany, NY. Just let me know if you can help John. Thanks in advance to all of you!!

Larry,
You best bet would be to post in the Kives Wanted section and to look at Ebay. The 501MS is a nice $75-$100 knife. I wouldn't pay any more than that.

If you have a source of these knives at $75 I will buy every single one, no limit on quantity. E-mail me and let's do business!

Best,
the pup

I'm talking value not availabilty...Look in Levine's book, there are literally hundreds of hard to find knives that are not worth much more than the original price--this includes many knives much rarer than a 501MS. I am not talking about mark ups.

I bought mine for $65, maybe less when it came out. My point is this knife, though "rare" (which is a relative term in the secondary knife market) isn't worth much more than $100 in my opinion....let alone $225 or whatever your asking price is on your site.
