If this is the same software that can scan an image and make a cad drawing from it...good luck, I believe the software package is around 100,000.00$
 
Cracking into this is becoming a challenge to say the least. I have auto cad resources no problem but this Mastercam is really starting to get me going. Trying to get a connection with tech engineering is going to take time I can see know. I know they have a home learning addition so I will keep plugging along here and thanks.

BTW... correction.....I believe the 100k setup is for the one that can scan a 3D object with lasers and make a cad drawing from that
 
OK, spoke to tech eng service. The software I have is too old and cannot be updated, it would be counterintuitive to try. Each software package sold is subscribed for first buyer only. yikes. The new software is Mastercam 9 and it is wonderful and runs about 6-7 grand. No printer, mill equipment, just software but it is user friendly in regards to tech support. Oh well...

You might want to talk with the software company itself, ask them questions directly. Shat better place to get answers? This has nothing to do with General Knife Discussion, by a long shot as it stands currently.
