MasterChief's Alias II for lots of changes

Well I received the Alias and have had a chance to give it some pocket time and I have to say it's a perfect edc for me. The knife looks fantastic (like I knew it would) the G-11 adds a little flare and has just the right amount of grip to it, the stuff really is a lot like glass the semi translucency is a nice touch. The new thumb stud makes opening the knife a lot easier for me, it has a much better edge than those weird cone shaped ones. The pocket clip is also a vast improvement over the factory one and rides super low in the pocket, when I tried it in tip down I couldn't even see the top of the knife. Thanks for the great work :D

Here are some shots of it I'll try to get some good natural light pics up so you guys can see how nice the G-11 is.

Glad to hear you like it Chris. That G11 does look like its a glow in the dark type material in certain light and its for sure got a different smell than G10 so something is for sure different about its make up.

I wondered about the thumb stud and whether you'd like it or not. Its an intersting thing with those. I have ordered these since Jantz started carrying them and they have always been smooth but this last order they were all knurled like that one I used on your Bradley. I sometimes get a bit frustrated with some of the suppliers because this happens more than a few times when I order stuff and get used to it and then reorder it using the same order numbers and get something else.

Sometimes this has made matching up a screw hard when a customer lost one. They did this recently with some button head screws where I was getting some with 1/8" pivot barrels that were the biggest head diameter T6 driver 2-56 screws I've ever seen and then after reordering these like the third time all the barrels came with regular T6 screws.

This is one of the reasons I buy in bulk once I find something I like. But even that has backfired where I got the bulk item after a small purchase and everything was different than that first small order. Go figure.
