Masters of Defense ATFK Warranty?

I recently had on of my MOD ATFK get play in the blade. Not side to side, it has worn on the inside nut and moves in and out. I contacted Blackhawk and they said all MOD's are now considered out of warranty and will not be exchanged for any other products even if it is a manufacture defect anyone else had to deal with this?

Did you ever get a response on this question? I contacted blackhawk about warranty service on my MOD Mark I and they seemed helpful. I'm sending in the knife this week to be serviced.
