Have a great weekend everybody!

Great knives Penguin! You and I need to get together sometime to share some drooling time. We are only about 60 miles apart

I've been wanting a Fisk hunter for some time. Yours is really nice. And that Tomes bird/trout is a great little knife. PJ never seems to have one of those on hand when I see him. But then, I have developed a fondness for his folders.

Two can play at this game:

Daniel Winkler hunter forged from a file (4 7/8 inch blade):

Jim Crowell hunter, 5 inch blade forged from 1084:

PJ Tomes hunter, 5 inch blade of 52100

Ed Caffrey's Mastersmith Test hunter (JS stamp) with 5.5 inch 52100 blade:

Another Winkler, this time with a 5 inch damascus blade and bolster with fossil walrus tusk ivory:

And last, a Tomes folding hunter (I know, I'm cheating). 52100 blades. Double lockback. This pic is not of mine. Mine has Better stag

Ok Lifter, I'm interested, how did the knife get to be 'mint'?

I have a couple more MS hunters/utility knives to share:

A Jim Crowell 'boot' knife. This is a large blade in a small package. The blade is four inches ahead of the scales, but it is 7 1/4 inch overall. A very compact knife. It could be called a Bird/Trout, although it has yet to taste fowl. Great for talking walks in the woods, or the city. Forged 1084:

Two of my brothers are each getting one of these simple hunters of forged 52100 by PJ Tomes. I just have not mailed them yet.

PJ thinks a four inch guardless design is the ideal hunting knife, light, strong, and allows choking up on the blade tip for precise skinning. I'm hoping my brothers forsake their Randall's and hunt with PJ's knives this year.

I have a few custom hunters, but they weren't made by a MS.

I have a couple of knives from MS PJ Tomes, and I guess one could be called a hunter, but I'm not a hunter so I call it a kitchen knife. That's the best I can come up with.

You guys are way out of my league.

PS. MO go play in traffic, if you can find some traffic.

I have one other MS Hunter but no pic. I have several other MS pieces if there is any interest.

Bo, show us!

If I lived 200 years ago I might have been proud to cut my ball patches and my game with this neck knife of edge-grain damascus forged by Daniel Winkler:

How about one of the five knives Ed Caffrey had to submit to get his Mastersmith rating?. This is "Desert Eve."

I just realized that Bo has more of my Mastersmith knives than I do!

Glad they have a good home though.

Ah but Kelly, you have Bo's money. And everybody knows money is better than knives, right?

Paracelsus, hoping I Never have to sell one

Senator has very good taste in knives.

I got the stuff he did not want anymore, imagine the good stuff he is keeping.

Para!
Did you get those guardless hunters from PJT @ the last NY show? I saw them & regretted passing on them

Also does anyone know if he'll be back in March?
