I Want to Thank Mastersmith Don Hanson III for taking time away from his busy knife making schedule to allow me come by his shop this morning and do my mastersmith performance test. It wasn't as quite a nervous time as when I performed my JS test 2 years ago, but it still was nerve racking enough.
Anyway, the knife performed beautifully and passed, so tonight I can sleep again. :)

Thank you Don, after we got the testing out of the way and the nerves settled down it was a very enjoyable visit, also on the way up the hill on my way out, a really nice 10 pointer walked across the road in front of me. I think you better sharpen your bullets for this one, he's a dandy.

Congrats, Bill.

Who's that ugly hillbilly in the pic with you? ;):D

Congrats, Bill!
I've been up that hill! Glad I wasn't on my motorcycle.
You couldn't have chosen a more hospitable M.S.
I look forward to "M.S." following your name.

Congrats Bill.
The performance test done AND
your MS dagger out of the way....
way to go...!

Congrats Bill, was a good visit! Folks, I was very impressed with the 5 or 6 knives Bill brought with him. His work is done!

This place is crawling with deer and I'll be looking for that one :)

Hill-William is right, and what ivory? ;)

Congratulations! But looking at your work, for me you already were a Master!

Kind regards,

Jos

...but not surprised.

Looks like 2009 will have a new contender with MS initials. Good for YOU!

Congratulations, Bill.....................but you really need to work on getting your blades a little bit straighter.

Congratulations Bill:thumbup:
Might I suggest that you send your test blade to Mr. Long for a sheath;)

Great news, Bill! Performance test accomplished and knives completed! Man, you can hunt and fishing through spring without finishing MS knives hanging over your head. What a novel idea! Congratulations. Look forward to seeing those new initals after your name.
