Mastersmith Test & Don Hanson Iii

Congrats Bill, was a good visit! Folks, I was very impressed with the 5 or 6 knives Bill brought with him. His work is done!

This place is crawling with deer and I'll be looking for that one :)

Hill-William is right, and what ivory? ;)
You trying to sweep your L.A. Redneck River Rat heritage under the rug? For those of you who are not from Florida, L.A. means "Lower Alabama" or the Panahandle.:D Congrats, Bill.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I'm sure glad that part is behind me.

Danbo, - what ivory, all I seen was a bag full of scrap stag. ;)

Karl B. Andersen- "You couldn't have chosen a more hospitable M.S."
I couldn't agree with you more Karl, but I do wish Don would have told me about his place over the phone, so I'd known to have taken my short barreled gun and possibly thinned out his squirrel population a little. :)

Sheathmaker- Paul it was fine before I got there, I believe it had something to do with the earths magnetic pull once you drop over that hill that leads into Dons valley. I think it will make for a great apple peeler though. :)

Thanks again to Don for his time and to all for the nice comments,

Bill

Joe, I'm a Hybrid, a mixture of cultures :D

Bill, I know this has been a goal you have been seeking for sometime. Congratulations! You should have brought Don a new hat.

Thanks again guys,

Ray, I had a hat in my truck but I don't think Don would have wanted it, once you get a good hat broke in there hard to replace no matter how faded and beat up they get. :)

Bill, your coming to Atlanta next spring aren't you?

Bill

Congrats Bill, that is a great accomplishment !!!

Good Luck in Atlanta!!

You will have to let us know if it is easier waiting outside the the MS judging room as compared to the JS judging room -- and Don says your work is done. :)

Bill, I will be in Atlanta for sure. Hopefully, I will be testing. Bill

Thanks guys,

Brian- I have no doubt the wait will be much worse then before but at least now I'll know to wear the strongest deodorant I can find. ;)
